Checkpoint

Haha, excuse the previous post.

"Faith in active opposition to common sense is mistaken enthusiasm and narrow-mindedness, and common sense in opposition to faith demonstrates a mistaken reliance on reason as the basis for truth."
-Oswald Chambers

Life on earth has this uncanny resemblance to an elephant trying to balance on the circus ball. Always trying to locate the centre of reality gravity.

At this point of my life, it looks like the propensity to fall is increasing as the burden on top gets heavier. But I don't want to spend my life trying to balance. I wanna be in teh center of God's will.

However, more thought needs to be poured over things like these. "Active opposition to common sense is mistaken enthusiasm". How many times have I promised the mountains when I don't do anything about the pebbles at the foot of it.

As the academic year begins, I can already hear the echoes of the gleaming scythe. It's sharpness in contrast to my rather out of focused life. I need to protect my walk with God; my commitment to his church.

How much have I changed since that time? Seems like the problem is surfacing again. It's so sly.

But thank you God that now I feel closer to Him. It's true that when crisis comes, we human beings tend to look to God or some higher being. But we know God wants us to have a relationship with him. A mutual relationship where we talk even though the wind's just right and the bow's gushing into the future.
